It was a privilege to recently work with Video Works on behalf of the Asthma Society of Ireland to share Ciara's story. Ciara’s mum, Emer, was just 46 when she passed away following an asthma attack. Emer was the life and soul of her family—bubbly, full of chat and song. But asthma deeply impacted her quality of life, especially during the colder months. It kept her from doing what she loved, like walking and gardening. Ciara believes that her mum’s life could have been different with more support. As winter sets in, more families like Ciara’s need help. Every euro donated helps @asthmasocietyofireland provide vital supports to keep loved ones safe and home this Christmas. Leading homelessness organisination @depaul_ireland yesterday released the findings of their 2023 Impact Report entitled - A Voice for Change with a media relations day at one of their 41 hostels, Sundial House in Dublin 8.

Yesterday, we were proud to support @depaul_ireland at the launch of their 2023 Impact Report: ‘A Voice for Change’ Depaul’s Impact Report revealed the growing mental health crisis facing those in temporary accommodation. Pictured at the launch were Homeless Health Peer Advocate Sinead Flynn, in white, pictured alongside Depaul team members all advocating for change. Key findings from the report include: - 1 in 7 service users are struggling with mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. - 10,936 people received support this year, including 8,445 adults and 2,491 children. - 1,415 families sought help—a striking 85% increase compared to 2022. - 18 babies were born into homelessness under Depaul’s services last year.
