Verodat launches new innovative Data Supply Chain platform
Objective
To profile the launch of Irish tech company Verodat’s innovative Data Supply Chain platform, Etch was tasked with building an effective communications strategy to elevate Verodat’s profile in the Irish market. To do this, we crafted strategic messaging that would effectively introduce the platform to the market and establish Verodat as a leading player in the technology and business sector.
Additionally, the goal was to provide comprehensive media training to key personnel, create a suite of engaging media assets, and generate significant media coverage. The campaign sought to highlight Verodat’s cutting-edge technology, particularly their Olympics Data Analyst GPT tool, and drive public engagement through targeted media outreach.
Background
Verodat’s Data Supply Chain platform significantly advances how businesses manage and optimise their data processes. Designed to address a critical gap in traditional data management solutions, this platform offers an end-to-end approach that ensures data integrity, efficiency, and accessibility across entire supply chains.
Coinciding with the Olympic Games, Verodat saw an opportunity to showcase its technology in a globally relevant context. This timing allowed for demonstrating the platform’s capabilities through the Olympics Data Analyst GPT, a tool designed to provide real-time sports data analysis.
Etch Communications was engaged to manage and deliver media opportunities, focusing on highlighting Verodat’s technology’s innovative aspects and practical applications.
Our Response
To ensure a successful launch, Etch began by creating a strategic messaging framework that clearly articulated the unique benefits of Verodat’s Data Supply Chain platform. This involved drafting comprehensive media materials and Q&A documents to ensure consistent and effective communication. Intensive media training was provided to Thomas Russell, Verodat’s founder and CEO, to prepare him for conveying the platform’s value and Verodat’s vision confidently in various media settings.
Etch also developed a suite of media assets, including press kits, professional team photography, and branded materials to support the campaign. A targeted media outreach strategy focused on national and local print, broadcast, and online outlets within the technology and business sectors. High-profile interviews were arranged with Thomas Russell, and a press release was distributed to announce the launch and highlight the Olympics Data Analyst GPT tool. By offering this tool free of charge during the Olympics, Verodat aimed to engage the public and showcase the platform’s real-world applications.
Results
The campaign achieved significant success, generating substantial media coverage and public engagement. Etch secured seven notable pieces of media coverage, including a national radio interview on Newstalk Breakfast Business, which provided an in-depth discussion of the platform’s features. Verodat was featured in prominent publications such as The Sunday Times Ireland, Business Plus and BusinessPost.ie, further amplifying the platform’s visibility. Additionally, a ten-minute regional radio interview on Limerick Live 95 and a business podcast feature on South East Radio contributed to the widespread dissemination of information about Verodat’s innovative technology.
The media coverage has generated 1.5 million opportunities for the public to see, hear, or read about Verodat and its new platform.
